Simple and Sweet Wedding Suite Stationery

Sometimes a simple and sweet wedding ceremony invitation is exactly the right choice.
These are 5" x 7" flat cards imprinted on soft creme cards stock.  The soft creme satin bow adds the only extra embellishment needed.  These are $2.45 each including satin bow, and also blank matching envelopes.

The R.s.v.p. that matches Samantha's ceremony invitation is a study in simplicity.
These are 3" x 5" soft creme cards that come with matching blank envelopes. $1.45 each with matching blank envelope.
Samantha's Wedding Program.  An over-sized ceremony program, tied with a pretty creme satin bow.
All of the information needed for guests is inside this 7" x 11" program.
$4.50 each including the pretty satin bow.
Let me know what you think.

Fragrance Belles-Lettres Revised Personalized Stationery

I have two new versions of Felicia's personalized stationery for her blog: www.fragrancebelleslettres.blogspot.com
This is Felicia's favorite design of the three I sampled for her the other day.
I also posted Felicia's design samples on Ink Stationery Studio's Facebook Fan Page and asked
which of the designs everyone liked the best.
This is hands-down the favorite of everyone who viewed the designs and sent me a message.
I changed the fonts to the lavender color which is Felicia's preference.

This is a close-up view.

After correcting Felicia's blog address, I changed the font color to the same lavender that is used for the fonts on the front of the note card.  I think the color consistency for the fonts is best for this design.

Felicia asked if a banner could possibly be added to this design.  The concern is that by added the banner, the initial crest design will become smaller.  The crest design did have to be re-sized  and made smaller in order to add the banner beneath.  Also, the Fragrance Belles-Lettres wording had to be reduced to fit the banner.

This is a close-up of the design.
I only wanted to sample the design this way so Felicia could see what it would look like.
I think it's great when a client digs in and asks to see additional versions or additional colors of a design.
That is what having a custom design made especially for you is all about.

Here is the original version sampled for Felicia.
I hope you like.
Let me know your thoughts.

Fragrance Belles-Lettres Personalized Stationery

These are three different designs just completed for Felicia who is the editor of the  blog: www.fragrancebelleslettres.blogspot.com
Felicia kindly offered very useful information as to the design influences she preferred, the colors she would
like for her stationery, and a few very nice design ideas.  I used all of the information Felicia offered as the framework for these three designs.

I like the simple sophistication of this first design.
All of these cards are 5 x 7 folded note cards in creme.
Each note card comes with a same color blank envelope.
The sets of cards and envelopes are $1.45 each.

Felicia offered two different logos that she admires for me to use as inspiration.
The first is the logo that the Plaza Hotel uses to identify their business.  A very nice crest.  The second, the logo used for the Laduree labels on their confection packaging.  I'm hesitant to "copy" another's logo, because first it is wrong as far as copy rights are concerned.  But, more importantly, I think any business is better off to find it's own distinctive voice and identity.

This is the inside with the Fragrance Belles-Lettres blog address.  I think placing this additional information
on the front of the note card added a bit to much to the overall design.
I also realized after taking these photos that Felicia's blog address does not include the hyphen.
So, the inside blog address of these designs would need to be corrected before completing this project.

Here is the second design for Felicia to consider.  These are all in gold, with the crest or emblem design a soft black layered with a gold saturation on top.  Very rich looking.
This design is a little more feminine and has a combination of two fonts.  One block, and the other a script font.  I like the font combinations

This is a close-up of the second design

Felicia wanted to see Gold and Lavender in her design, so I sampled this card with a Lavender color included in the monogram design.

Here again is the inside blog address for Fragrance Belles-Lettres.
This would have to be corrected before completing.

This third design is a bit more whimsical.
Felicia wanted to see a crown over the logo design.  But, while working with these designs I considered that the designs themselves were too elaborate for the addition of a crown.  I created this design specifically to be able to include a crown in the design.
Again, I used two different fonts.  A script and a block font.
On each of these designs the block font used on the card's front is also the block font used on the card's inside for the blog address.  Too many fonts begins to look haphazard, but two fonts seem to be just right.

Here is a close-up of the third design.

The inside with the Fragrance Belles-Lettres blog address.
The correct blog address is www.frangrancebelleslettres.blogspot.com.
I truly enjoyed working on these designs.
Let me know what you think.

Bridal Offer to Pass Savings to your Friends

This is an offer for all previous or current Ink Stationery Studio or Wedology clients.
I want to offer you an opportunity to help your friends save on the cost of their wedding.
It doesn't matter if you are a previous or current Bride, a Groom, or Mother of the Bride - you all have the opportunity to help your engaged friends save!
I've been in the business of working with brides for over four years now.  Helping to plan and organize their weddings, designing and developing their wedding suite stationery, or working with some brides at the very last minute to design a wedding program, a menu, or any of the many paper items needed to help pull their wedding together.  I have truly enjoyed every minute.  And, I have a very good understanding of all of the costs associated with putting together a bride's wedding day.  So, I have decided to offer my clients a way to help their engaged friends save.
Any past or current client can refer an engaged friend that contracts Ink Stationery Studio to design and develop her wedding suite stationery.  In return I will offer your friend 100 save-the-dates, and 100 matching addressed envelopes for free!  Up to a $250 retail value.
It's a "Do-Good" thing to help your friends.
Tell your friends to let me know that you referred them.
