Message Cards and Baskets for Bonnie's Reception

Here are the colors I have you may like.
Left to Right: Moss Green, Lake Blue, White, Red, Chartreuse, and Turquoise
I think you are right, and yellow would be good with this color assortment.  I looked around this morning and found pastel yellow or a bright yellow card stock that could be used.  I really think a golden yellow would work best.  If I am able to find the right color yellow, I'll make that color of message card for you also.
Pick you colors.

I have two different baskets that may work for the koozies.
This is a golden natural color.
Dimensions: 15" L  X  13" W
I have two of theses baskets.  We would place one at each bar location.

I only have one of these  red baskets.
This one will work if you only have the koozies at one bar location.
Dimensions: 12" L X 10" W
Whichever basket you select, I'm making a sign to hang
along the side of the basket.
As soon as you select a basket, I'll get the sign made and post for you to view.
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
C

Wedding Reception Message Cards for Bonnie

Message cards for wedding guests to write a note to the bride and groom.
I did this in one design, with the option to print them in several colors.
Colors are: red, turquoise, chartreuse, white, and creme.
These could also be printed on all one color card stock.
Like all creme, or all white, or all turquoise.
The size is 3.5" W x 4" L
The over-sized quotation marks just seemed like the right choice for friends and family
to leave a written message inside.  Decorative, but understated.

This is the sign to go with these cards.
Lets quests know what to do.
This is a 4" x 6" card of soft creme (the sunshine makes it appear white),
with dark navy ink.

Here is an idea for you.  Yes, I have cigar boxes in these bright colors.
I think it would take two.  Stacked on top of each other for the height.
The table sign is being held by a silver ball style sign holder.
(A "frame" style may be better).
But, whichever is used-we will need to try and use the same style or close as possible for all
of the signs.
Of course, a clear glass bowl, or a copper bowl like the one being used for your
flower petals would also be very nice to hold the messages.
Let me know what you think, please.

Lipstick Red Crown a top French Script Monogram.  This is my own stationery design used for personal correspondence.  I like the simplicity-and the way the colors and design pop on the creamy white card stock.
The Dimensions are a nicely over sized 5" x 7" - I love to have lots of room to write my notes.
The crown color can be altered to match your own personal favorite color.
Set of 10 note cards and 10 matching envelopes $12.50

Personal Stationery Set
This design is a client favorite.  I think because the scroll and vine design are feminine, without being over the top.  The design is in Chocolate Brown and printed on Soft Cream card stock.  Add name or monogram to make this card yours.  This is another slightly over sized 5" x 7" Flat Card.  And comes with matching Soft Cream colored envelopes.
Set of 10 cards and 10 envelopes $12.50

Personalized Stationery Set
Folded Note
This design is so well loved, that I translated the design into a smaller folded note card.
Again, add your name or monogram to make this your own.
Chocolate Brown Scroll and Vine Design printed on Soft Creme card stock.
When folded the dimensions are 3.5" x 5".  This is the traditional 4-bar note size for folded note cards.

Set of 10 folded notes and 10 envelopes $12.50

Personalized Stationery Set
Folded Note
Whimsical Design in Purple, Yellow, and Green for everyone who likes fun, bright colors.
Also available in a Blue or Pink color palette.  This is the brighter color combination of the three.
All colors are printed on crisp white card stock.
This folded note takes just one initial placed inside the design.
When folded this note card measures 3.5" x 5", the standard 4-bar size.
Gift Packaging is available (and Free) on all folded notes.
I happen to have a hand-dyed silk ribbon that looks
perfect with this card set.  (See photo).  Makes a very cute gift.
Set of 10 note cards and 10 matching envelopes $12.50

Personal Stationery Set
Folded Note
Even my daughter loves this one!  And she is a tough customer.
Elegant script font of one initial framed by a slim two-color border.
This border happens to be in one of my favorite color combinations: Cherry Red and Turquoise Blue.
I think the colors are why my daughter likes this card so much.
I'm also able to make this note card in any color combination you choose.
This would be the perfect way to show your team spirit, or school spirit by using their colors!
This note card is printed on crisp white card stock, and comes with matching white envelopes.

Fragrance Belles-Lettres Revised Personalized Stationery

I have two new versions of Felicia's personalized stationery for her blog: www.fragrancebelleslettres.blogspot.com
This is Felicia's favorite design of the three I sampled for her the other day.
I also posted Felicia's design samples on Ink Stationery Studio's Facebook Fan Page and asked
which of the designs everyone liked the best.
This is hands-down the favorite of everyone who viewed the designs and sent me a message.
I changed the fonts to the lavender color which is Felicia's preference.

This is a close-up view.

After correcting Felicia's blog address, I changed the font color to the same lavender that is used for the fonts on the front of the note card.  I think the color consistency for the fonts is best for this design.

Felicia asked if a banner could possibly be added to this design.  The concern is that by added the banner, the initial crest design will become smaller.  The crest design did have to be re-sized  and made smaller in order to add the banner beneath.  Also, the Fragrance Belles-Lettres wording had to be reduced to fit the banner.

This is a close-up of the design.
I only wanted to sample the design this way so Felicia could see what it would look like.
I think it's great when a client digs in and asks to see additional versions or additional colors of a design.
That is what having a custom design made especially for you is all about.

Here is the original version sampled for Felicia.
I hope you like.
Let me know your thoughts.

Fragrance Belles-Lettres Personalized Stationery

These are three different designs just completed for Felicia who is the editor of the  blog: www.fragrancebelleslettres.blogspot.com
Felicia kindly offered very useful information as to the design influences she preferred, the colors she would
like for her stationery, and a few very nice design ideas.  I used all of the information Felicia offered as the framework for these three designs.

I like the simple sophistication of this first design.
All of these cards are 5 x 7 folded note cards in creme.
Each note card comes with a same color blank envelope.
The sets of cards and envelopes are $1.45 each.

Felicia offered two different logos that she admires for me to use as inspiration.
The first is the logo that the Plaza Hotel uses to identify their business.  A very nice crest.  The second, the logo used for the Laduree labels on their confection packaging.  I'm hesitant to "copy" another's logo, because first it is wrong as far as copy rights are concerned.  But, more importantly, I think any business is better off to find it's own distinctive voice and identity.

This is the inside with the Fragrance Belles-Lettres blog address.  I think placing this additional information
on the front of the note card added a bit to much to the overall design.
I also realized after taking these photos that Felicia's blog address does not include the hyphen.
So, the inside blog address of these designs would need to be corrected before completing this project.

Here is the second design for Felicia to consider.  These are all in gold, with the crest or emblem design a soft black layered with a gold saturation on top.  Very rich looking.
This design is a little more feminine and has a combination of two fonts.  One block, and the other a script font.  I like the font combinations

This is a close-up of the second design

Felicia wanted to see Gold and Lavender in her design, so I sampled this card with a Lavender color included in the monogram design.

Here again is the inside blog address for Fragrance Belles-Lettres.
This would have to be corrected before completing.

This third design is a bit more whimsical.
Felicia wanted to see a crown over the logo design.  But, while working with these designs I considered that the designs themselves were too elaborate for the addition of a crown.  I created this design specifically to be able to include a crown in the design.
Again, I used two different fonts.  A script and a block font.
On each of these designs the block font used on the card's front is also the block font used on the card's inside for the blog address.  Too many fonts begins to look haphazard, but two fonts seem to be just right.

Here is a close-up of the third design.

The inside with the Fragrance Belles-Lettres blog address.
The correct blog address is www.frangrancebelleslettres.blogspot.com.
I truly enjoyed working on these designs.
Let me know what you think.

Bridal Offer to Pass Savings to your Friends

This is an offer for all previous or current Ink Stationery Studio or Wedology clients.
I want to offer you an opportunity to help your friends save on the cost of their wedding.
It doesn't matter if you are a previous or current Bride, a Groom, or Mother of the Bride - you all have the opportunity to help your engaged friends save!
I've been in the business of working with brides for over four years now.  Helping to plan and organize their weddings, designing and developing their wedding suite stationery, or working with some brides at the very last minute to design a wedding program, a menu, or any of the many paper items needed to help pull their wedding together.  I have truly enjoyed every minute.  And, I have a very good understanding of all of the costs associated with putting together a bride's wedding day.  So, I have decided to offer my clients a way to help their engaged friends save.
Any past or current client can refer an engaged friend that contracts Ink Stationery Studio to design and develop her wedding suite stationery.  In return I will offer your friend 100 save-the-dates, and 100 matching addressed envelopes for free!  Up to a $250 retail value.
It's a "Do-Good" thing to help your friends.
Tell your friends to let me know that you referred them.
